Vor ein paar Jahren bin ich zum ersten Mal über einen Kollegen mit der Movember-Bewegung in Berührung gekommen. Ich fand die Initiative wichtig, notwendig und auch witzig und möchte einen aktiven Beitrag für die Männergesundheit leisten ...
Mit großer Motivation gehe ich in das vierte Jahr als Team-Captain der "Munich Movemberists" und inzwischen auch in das zweite Jahr als Movember Ambassador ... zumal ich mittlerweile selbst betroffen bin, weil ich im Februar 2023 die Diagnose "fortgeschrittener Prostatakrebs" erhalten habe. Ich weiß aus eigener Erfahrung, wie es sich mit fortgeschrittenem Prostatakrebs lebt und wie wichtig es ist, rechtzeitig zum Arzt zu gehen.
Um so mehr ist es mir eine Herzensangelegenheit, Männer durch das Teilen meiner Geschichte zu sensibilisieren und aufzuklären.
Es gibt keine Tabus ... Sprich mich an, wenn Du etwas wissen willst.
