My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Despite growing an award winningingly horrendous moustache, I'm commited to the cause...

In large part, that's because in 2024 a rapidly growing tumor the size of a lime was discovered in my right testicle. It forced me to go under the knife for an inguinal orchiectomy (doctor-speak for surgery to remove the testicle), followed by three cycles of chemotherapy. Not surprisingly, I felt the effects on my mental health as well, including my first panic attacks and bouts with anxiety. Thankfully, literally on Movember eve 2024 (Oct. 31), I was officially deemed to be in remission from cancer. While not considered cured for another few years, I'm grateful to be where I'm at today - feeling good and totally committed to the net impact of my cancer journey ultimately being positive.

I hope through Movember and other initiatives to help raise awareness and funds towards men's health. It's an opportunity to improve future outcomes for men who face similar challenges to those that I have faced during my cancer journey.
